ROTARY CLUB OF THE RIVERBEND
It's official! As of last Thursday the new Rotary Club of the Riverbend received it charter from immediate past District Governor Larry Thompson. Lori, Joe and Rick made up our contingent. In additional to the six past and future District Governors, there were representative from six area clubs in attendance, each presenting a memento to new president Angie Braida. We gifted the Riverbenders with a banner containing the 4-way test. it was well received and deeply appreciated by the new members who won't have to fumble for the words.Their club starts with a charter membership of 23, several with past Rotary experience. We wish them great success as they help spread the Service Above Self motto in our area.
