(From the 7-29 meeting)
-Our "early bird" contingent was comprised of Ron and Mark. S.
-We celebrated Red and Cory's birthdays. A big thanks to Red for his generous check.
-Some say our pictures are better than the Cardinals pitchers.
-Cory's wife is doing OK. She will soon be be parting ways with her gall bladder.
-We welcomes no visiting Rotarian's and no make-ups were offered.
-In addition to the shredded pork in gravy entree, Bob offered whipped spread for the buns.
-The voting has closed for our "Program of the Year". Results will be announced soon.
-We will be meeting off site on Aug. 26th. Gather @ high noon in the Senior Services Plus building in Alton. Turn by the White Castle (no stopping for a sack of bombers) on the Beltway and follow the signs. There is plenty of parking in the rear.
-Cory wanted to know where the fine money was from last week. It was found in the fine bucket.
-Truth be told, Mark S. was off attending the Cardinal game on the 22nd. Allen had No idea that Mark was in the house.
-It seems that everyone is headed on vacation, but only Rhonda is heading for Texas.
-Mark S. and Rick each took turns looking for the elusive joker. The $51 50-50 pot grows.
