DO YOU REMEMBER?

It was 30 years ago today, on May 16, 1980, that audiences were introduced to the (fictional) students of the (real) New York School For The Performing Arts, in the hit musical film, Fame. From the audition process on through to graduation, audiences followed the trials and tribulations of five gifted students, each with a dream of stardom. The question was – did they possess the raw determination and grit needed to succeed? With a colorful cast of unknown actors and a foot-tapping musical score, Fame quickly won the hearts of millions.
