GOOD LUCK GENE!
This photo appeared in the August 9th issue of the The Telegraph newspaper, Alton, Illinois. Gene has been serving as our Assistant District Governor for the past couple of years. I have had the personal pleasure of knowing him since 1987. You may not know that he was the long time Postmaster of Jerseyville, Illinois. Gene's commitment to Rotary has always been high, in fact, Rotary was included in our first conversation about Postal Service business. I'm delighted to see that his former club recognized his dedication. I wish him and his wife Candy only the best as they relocated closer to family members. I sure hope he finds some way to stay involved with Rotary.
