1985: Coke lovers everywhere stop rationing the old stuff as Coca-Cola Co. ends sales of New Coke.

1989: Cartoon comedy changes forever with the death of Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. He was 81.
