What a very peculiar year lies ahead in 2009/10 as each of us begin to go our sepa- rate ways. For approximately 20% of our districts will embark on a new training and orientation program in a few months as they prepare to try out the Future Vision system for real! Each of us—pilots and non-pilots alike – may well feel at some time in the next few years that the world has suddenly shrunk! Whatever Rotary direction you are taking and until we all meet again in 2013, we know that our Foundation’s success relies not upon systems or our staff or our trus- tees but on each and every one of us—the Rotarians. And all of this ties in rather neatly with President John’s theme for 2009/10—as true for our Foundation as any other part of Rotary—the future is in our hands.
