WHAT A RECORD

After 92-year-old Rose Syracuse of Brooklyn retired from her job at Macy’s after 73 years—the longest-serving employee in the company’s history. “This was my first job, and I didn’t go anyplace else,” said Syracuse, who started with the store when FDR was president and credit cards didn’t yet exist.
