SPACE STATION ON THE MOVE

In the morning twilight of Alborz Mountains in Iran, the Milky Way is visible above southwest where the light of a nearby town brightens the horizon. The Moon and planet Jupiter are on the other side above the eastern horizon. During this 4 minute total exposure the International Space Station (ISS) with its three resident astronauts passes over the photographer at altitude of about 400 km. The light from the station is reflection of sunlight from its surface and the solar panels.
