TUNE IN TONIGHT

NOVA: THE PLUTO FILES
PBS, 8 p.m. ET
(Check local listings)
I really, really like this installment. It’s a new hour, hosted and enlivened by Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who fesses up to his own culpability in the role of “demoting” Pluto from planet to asteroid – and traces the history, and poses the question, all over again. It’s a lively, lovely hour, making room for everything from world-class and backyard astronomers to Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and, in the Disney universe, the “real” Pluto. Kids will love this. So will adults.
