SAVED BY THE DOLPHINS

Good karma may have saved the life of a long-distance swimmer. In a fundraising effort for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Adam Walker was in the middle of his 16-mile swim across New Zealand’s Cook Strait when he noticed a great white shark approaching him from below. Suddenly, a pod of 10 dolphins came to his rescue, surrounding and escorting him until the predator swam off. Walker thinks his “guardian” dolphins knew what they were doing. “I’d like to think they were protecting me and guiding me home,” he posted on Facebook. “This swim will stay with me forever.”
