British authorities have confiscated more than $5,000 worth of audio equipment from a man who tormented his neighbors by constantly blasting out Celine Dion’s theme from the movie Titanic. Following repeated complaints, officials stormed into Gareth Davies’s home and seized anything that could play “My Heart Will Go On,” including his iPod, speakers, TV, and game console. “It felt like it was a witch hunt,” said Davies, 47. But officials insisted they were acting in the community’s best interests. “People have the right to lead a peaceful existence without it being ruined by loud music,” said an official.
