POLIO PRESENTATION
On 12 April 1955, scientists declared Jonas Salk's polio vaccine safe, effective, and potent. In honor of the anniversary of that historic announcement, RI General Secretary John Hewko delivered a speech at the World Vaccine Congress in Washington, D.C., noting Rotary's leadership role in polio eradication.
