GLOBAL GRANT APPLICATION

Applications are now available online for packaged global grants with Aga Khan University, one of The Rotary Foundation's strategic partners under the Future Vision Plan.
Through the grants, Rotarian-led vocational training teams will design and provide training programs that will enhance the clinical and administrative skills of university-level nursing faculty in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. (click below to read more)

The teams will also work with area Rotarians and Aga Khan University to coordinate and implement a service project that connects the training to existing clinics or medical programs. Up to three grants of between US$20,000 and $30,000 will be awarded annually.
Packaged global grants also will fund scholarships for students to study nursing and midwifery through Aga Khan University's nursing programs in East Africa.
The grants will support the maternal and child health area of focus and are available to Future Vision pilot districts only.
Aga Khan University is a private, nonsectarian institution that promotes human welfare and development through research, teaching, and community service. The Trustees reached an agreement to form a strategic partnership with Aga Khan University in May.
