Only 12 humans have ever been to the moon. And the last moon mission was way back in 1972. The promises of moon bases and tourism never really materialized.
It is doubtful that any of us will ever get to set foot on the moon. But with modern technology, you can come close. For example, Google has a nice system set up.
The service is called Google Moon. It's similar to Google Maps. Satellite photos are stitched together so you can view the moon's surface.
Google includes information on all six lunar Apollo missions. You can view the landing sites and follow the astronauts' exploration paths. Lots of historic information and photos are provided as well. LINK HERE
