IT'S ROTARY INTERACT WEEK

Celebrate World Interact Week by watching the third story highlighted on the new Interact promotional DVD, Interact: Make a Difference . The DVD is designed to inspire young people to join Interact and motivate Rotarians to sponsor a club in their community.
The third selection features three Interact clubs of Kolkata, India, whose members donate their time to help the disadvantaged in their community. The Interact Club of The Heritage School Campus taught mime, poetry, dancing, Math, and English to underprivileged students at a primary school.
Members of the Interact Club of Chowringhee High School helped out during a free health check-up camp for children. Interactors registered patients and distributed medicine to families.
The Interact Club of St. Thomas Girls School visited a home for mentally and physically challenged children. Members played games and danced with the children. They also gave them food packets.
In the series, Interactors and Rotarians explain the effect Interact has had on their lives and how the program is making a difference in their communities and around the world. The first two selections are available on RI's YouTube channel.
The videos also will be available on YouTube so that club members can embed them on their own social networking pages, sharing the Interact message with a broader audience.
The DVD comes with a CD-ROM that includes the Interact brochure, handbook, poster, faculty adviser guide, and more.
Watch the third selection video.
