With 23 February fast
approaching, every club is encouraged to plan events to mark Rotary’s 107th birthday. Last year, clubs and districts made tremendous efforts to
recognize Rotary’s work and spread the End Polio Now
message. Although 23 February is Rotary’s official anniversary, any day
can be designated a Rotary day in your community. Remember that your
public relations plan for the day’s celebration should focus on service,
which will communicate what Rotary is and does around the world. Clubs
planning a lighting event should go to www.rotary.org/lightings
for tips and resources. And be sure to share your plans with us at pr@rotary.org.
