SPACE

This is a photo of the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, a spot in the sky that was picked 18 years ago as it was thought up to that time to be a black empty area.  Except for a couple of stars, one in the lower right quadrant (with the spiked prisms) which are part of our milky way galaxy, all of the other areas of light are galaxies, more than 10,000 of them. A piece of paper just 1mm x 1mm held one meter from your eyes would cover this area.
