Flix, 9:30 p.m. ET
This is an independent film from the early 80s (in this case, 1981)
that had an impact much bigger than its budget. Louie Malle directs what
is an intimate, but not at all claustrophobic, movie in which two men –
Andre Gregory and Wallace Shawn – converse. That’s the whole movie.
That’s it. Yet, like the episode of Seinfeld where they do nothing but
wait for a table at a Chinese restaurant, it’s brilliant.
